Woo!

I had an audition for Verizon this morning--actually, I auditioned for two separate holiday spots. The audition was fun, and I felt like I did fairly well. The session runner and I had an entire conversation about our shared heritage, which was interesting. :) Keep your fingers crossed!!! I said I wanted to book another commercial before the end of September--just gonna keep putting that out there!

On a side note, I was lucky enough to get to go to Nine Inch Nails' final concert (ever)--it was epic. Amazing. Awesome. I'm so grateful that I was there to experience it--and special thanks to my co-creators on the show for giving me their extra ticket as a gift! (More info on that below--it's not really related to acting or writing, but it's awesome, so I want to share.)

Speaking of my co-creators, we've been working to get more of the pitch book in order, too--we met up a few days ago to work on language for the character bios, which I continued to work on this week. I need to finish my rewrite on the pilot, too. We're supposed to meet again on Sunday, to continue working on the remaining bios and possibly start on the other areas of language for the book (i.e. future episodes). Yay!

Okay, back to NIN...
